Delete your account

Last updated 11 October 2026

You can delete your We Both account yourself, at any time, from inside the app. It is the same account on the iPhone app, the Android app and the website, so deleting it once deletes it everywhere.

In the app

1. Open the Profile tab and tap All settings.

2. Scroll down to Account, near the bottom.

3. Tap Delete my account.

4. Read what will happen, then tap Delete my account again to confirm.

It happens the moment you confirm. You are signed out on every phone and browser, and it cannot be undone.

What is deleted

If you are the only person in your household, the household goes with you, and so does everything in it: every expense, income entry, bill, list, chore, note and photo, and your account itself.

Either way, your sign-in goes: your email address, your password, your date of birth, your phone token and any sign-in with Apple. So do your devices, your calendars, your notification settings, your photo, what the assistant remembered about you, your conversations with it, and anything you sent through “Ideas and bugs”. A connected Google or Microsoft account is disconnected, and for Google its access is revoked with Google too. Pending sign-in links and invites sent to your address are deleted.

What a shared household keeps

If someone else is in your household, the entries you logged stay in it, shown as “Former member”, so the other person’s totals and bills do not change. Your name is removed from them. An empty account is kept behind them only so those entries still have an owner, with your email address replaced by an unreachable placeholder: nothing can sign in to it, and it cannot be traced back to you.

If you cannot open the app

Email hello@weboth.xyz from the address you signed up with and ask for your account to be deleted. It is done by hand within 30 days, and in practice the same week, with the same result as deleting it in the app.

What is not covered

A subscription. Premium is billed by the App Store or Google Play, not by us. Deleting your account does not cancel it: if you no longer want it, cancel it in your Apple or Google account settings.

Logs held by others. Vercel, which hosts the site, keeps ordinary request logs like any web host: IP address, the page asked for and the time. If you spoke to the assistant, ElevenLabs keeps a record of each voice request under its own terms. The privacy page says what each company involved sees.
